Third Party Events - fundraising + awareness
People ask us how to end homelessness; how can they help Project PLASE. Below are some options for people and organizations. Choices of Third Party Events, Percentage Nights with Restaurants, and Peer-to-peer fundraising are all great ways to raise money for our programs, our building, and client services. More importantly, it’s a grassroots way to build awareness of the issues facing the unhoused community.
Ending homelessness for the men and women in Baltimore is no small feat. Our staff is dedicated to doing all within their power, but more hands make the work lighter.
Would you like to help Project PLASE by hosting a third-party event? A third-party event is basically your group or company hosting a fundraiser (monetary or in-kind donations) for Project PLASE. This would be done at your location of choice, paid for from your own budget, and staffed by your team. The items or funds collected would be donated in whole to Project PLASE as a donation from your group or organization.

A Percentage night.
Funding is always needed to keep our programs running and at the highest quality. Grants only cover so much, so the rest comes from donations. With your help, we can increase our outreach, awareness, and funds all in one event!
Restaurant fundraisers or Percentage Nights are the most delicious way to make an impact for PLASE! Groups and individuals have reached their fundraising goals by partnering with restaurants to give a percentage of the day's revenue to the charity of the group or individual's choosing.
A restaurant fundraiser is a social event where a group eats at a restaurant on a particular day and the restaurant donates back a set percentage of sales to the group’s cause. These events are also known as dine-to-donate, profit shares, fundraising nights, restaurant give-back nights, or spirit nights.
Fundraising at restaurants is truly a win-win scenario! Restaurants that do fundraisers establish closer ties with their communities and your friends, family, and supporters get a chance to enjoy a delicious meal with each other.
