Housing for 90 homeless individuals

Project PLASE, in partnership with Beacon Communities, is setting the stage for a long-awaited transformation of its Old Frederick Road campus.

In Autumn 2024, Project PLASE will be breaking ground on the renovation project of its larger facility.  This former Catholic school building is currently the home to 36 residents in its Temporary Housing program and 50+ staff members.

The renovations will transform the dorm-style rooms into single units for the Temporary Housing clients.  It will also renovate the current staff office and unused space into Permanent Housing for Veterans and chronically homeless, low-income individuals.  A total of 90 units will be created, thereby increasing the number of vulnerable men and women removed from living on the streets.
